Most problems can be resolved without resetting your new tab.

A video does not play

Try an MP4 with H.264 video or a WebM file. Actual playback support depends on the codecs available in your installed version of Chrome.

Chrome asks for folder access again

For privacy, Chrome may require you to confirm access after a browser restart. Open Sound Space, choose the music folder again when prompted, and the extension will rebuild the local index without copying your files.

Animation feels heavy

Open Settings → Performance and choose Eco quality. Animation automatically pauses in hidden tabs.
